Helping Hands will hold its 4th annual Family Fun Day

Helping Hands will hold its 4th annual Family Fun Day fundraiser on Saturday, September 29, 2007 beginning at 1 p.m. at the Malta Drive-In, Route 9, Malta, NY. Admission is $20 per carload. Attractions include games, rides, Kid Karaoke, food, raffles, activities for all ages, a talent contest, and two family friendly movies. The event is sponsored by the Malta Drive-In and Furniture Theatre. All proceeds will benefit Helping Hands School, a preschool for children with special needs. Jay Bobbin of WNYT News Channel 13 and WGY Radio will host the talent show, which will feature performances by local acts. Judges for the competition include Yolanda Vega and Marissa Williams from the New York State Lottery and Vince Gallagher from Capital News 9. A total of $500 in cash prizes will be awarded.

After dark, two family friendly movies will be shown: Shrek the Third and Pirates of the Caribbean 3, both of which are included in the admission price.

Located in Clifton Park, Helping Hands School has been providing services to Capital District families since 1981.
